How to get my incoming yMail server?

Why am I getting emails saying that my account is sending out lots of spam and that it might be a proxy server?

• I have received a couple of emails stating that a lot of emails and spam are being sent from my email account which is a ymail account. I have sent very little if anything in fact. It says that my email account may be being used as a proxy server. It claims that it is from a ymail support team. It says to fix it open up an attachment. First of all I am not sure that it is in fact from a ymail support team and I did go to the attachment but it came up that there was a virus in it so I did not open it. If my account is in fact infected with this how can I get rid of it. Is that email in fact from ymail support team. My computer is running very slow since all this started and often times when I go to Yahoo through Internet Explorer it just freezes up.
