How to stop mail from going to spam folder?

Why is the e mail I am sending going to their spam folder?

• I just received a e mail from a friend that says my e mails are going to their spam folder. I have been sending out e mails with no response from some of my friends, what is happening here, what can I do on my end to correct this, I am sure if it is going to one spam folder, it is probably going to others. Help

  The mail service of your friends, are placing your mail in the spam box because your E-mail has the look of spam. Ask your friends to place your E-mail address in their mail service address book if they have not done it already. This helps to identify you as a 'good' and safe mail item. However, if the mail service still thinks your mail has the look of spam, it will send it to spam again. So they can check mark the mail in their spam box, then click on the 'Not spam' button and it will be returned to their in box. On your part, if you keep your messages short and use only plain text, it might stop being sent into peoples spam boxes. Good luck
