How do I block a contact in Yahoo Mail?

How can I NOT let people contact me on Yahoo Mail?

• These people keep trying to contact me. Every time I check my mail I have ay least 5 people trying to add me to their online list. I just block them, then they just keep adding me. I block them but then I get more. I can I not let people contact me or NOT even talk to me. Please Help me. I don't wanna delete my yahoo mail because I have other things on this email.

  Mouse over your Hi Name (top left), and click on "Profile" to open your Pulse page. On that page click on "settings" (top right). Scroll to "Notifications" and click on "manage email notifications". Then check the "NO boxes on the Invites". (all of them). Click "Done". ***************** You also need to disable "Updates". Go to your Pulse page (again), and click on "settings" (again)----then scroll to and click on "manage updates". UNCHECK "share my updates"----then scroll to and click "save" (bottom of page). Then---Disable updates on your mail settings. Mail page>>options>>mail/more options>>>>>AND UNCHECK the button next to "enable updates". Then click "save changes" at the top of the page. **************
