Yahoo Mail Scam?

I have just opened my mail and found this: Dear Yahoo Member, Your e-mail account was used to send a huge amount of unsolicited spam messages during the recent week. If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online experience and confirm the attached document so you will not run into any future problems with the online service. If you choose to ignore our request, you leave us no choice but to cancel your membership. Virtually yours, The Yahoo Support Team Anyone know if this is a scam or not? The attachment contained a virus. I do not want to lose my account!
Answer:

This is definitely a malicious email pretending to be from Yahoo!. Yahoo!'s Customer Service team will never send you an email with an attachment. Just delete the email.

Its a scam - don't answer it. I get these all the time from Yahoo, eBay, banks I don't even have an account with, the list is endless. If they use your real name, then its probably authentic...even then, be careful.
