Wow you won a lottery you didn't enter and has never been advertised and all they want is information they can use to gain access to things like your bank account. Can you see all these huge companies that would advertise a sneeze if they could not advertise a lottery? It's an obvious scam to get your details and until so many gullible people stop falling for it it will continue
madamspud
Fake. Just delete it. Whatever you do, DO NOT reply. If you feel like giving the scammer a bad day, you could forward the message, with full headers, to the "abuse" e-mail address of the domain where it came from (Yahoo, MSN, whatever). Otherwise, just delete it and forget it.

Yes, it's SPAM. I get at least one of these everyday. I also get emails from people asking me to help them transfer millions of dollars to the United States. If you won anything you would be contacted by phone, not email. Delete it right away before you get a virus.

Smells like phishing..... If you really won that kind of money, I am sure they would not use the internet to find random-unknown contestants, found via search-bot. As soon as you reply, any info is in their hands. Such as verification of your current e-mail address, your URL and any info that you volunteer.

I think it's fake.they will ask you your account number and steal all the money you have in your account.

It's fake and a way to make a fool of yourself.

Yahoo never sends things like this. It is a scam to get your personal information.

I have received such a letter. But not sure if it was a spam because they never asked for my bank account. I replied and was asked to pay 450.00 pounds for a Normal Class Delivery in 120Hrs (more for other delivery options in shorter time)

Obviously it is not true. Who the hell in the world, would like to give you thousands, or millions of dollars for free. You got to be little smart.
