Why did I get another email from an address that I added to my blocked list?
-
The email initially appeared in the inbox. I immediately spammed it. I never opened the email because I've been getting what look like scam emails. I'm able to see what the email address of the sender is by placing the mouse over the sender's name so that I can add it to my list of blocked addresses. Then I just deleted the email, without ever opening it. The subject line reads 'no subject', but I know it's some 'scam-bag' and the email is unsolicited and someone I don't know. Now there's the same exact email (same sender name, same email address), this time in my spam box. Again, I'm not opening it. Someone else suggested setting up a 'junk email' account and have a lil fun with the idiot! lol But I really want to know how the same email got through.

Answer:
Sometimes they do at first, it takes time for the spam filter to recognize it as spam or blocked. At least this time it went to the spam bin. It should stop, also if they change just one digit in the address it will get through. It will not continue, they will give up, there is no point in continually sending to one email address when it's just junk.
