How do I remove Yahoo Advertisers Survey pop-up box in mail?

• For the last several days, when opening my mail, a pop-up box comes up from, I believe, Yahoo. It’s titled: Yahoo Advertisers Survey. It has a close X in upper right corner, two action boxes 1) take survey and 2) no thanks. No matter what I select the pop-up disappears and then returns again and again. Sometimes when selecting to remove it, the result is that I can’t open the top 3-4 pieces of mail. Please, has anyone else encountered this problem and how do you get rid of it!

  You can not stop all ads in Yahoo, make sure your cursor does not go near them. This one does not sound normal. Immediately have your computer checked for a 'bug' or 'bugs,' in case you picked up adware or malware. Once it is clean of pests, install a firewall and an anti-virus program if you do not have one yet. I strongly recommend a program for malware and adware also. Then open your Internet Explorer, and click on 'Tools.' Click on the last one in pop-up menu, 'Internet options.' Click on the 'Privacy' tab. The last item in the window is the pop-up blocker, make sure it is checked. Then click on the 'apply' button at the bottom, then click on the 'ok' button.
