Why is my mail sending limit is less than a 100??

  • I manage a mail list for a marina. We have about 60 members. According to Yahoo policy, 100 is the maximum number of recipients that one message can be sent to. However, when I try to send the same message to all 60 it says, "to many people in your To or CC fields" How can I send an email to at least 60-65 people all at once? Why is this happening and how can I correct this?

  • Answer:

The best way to manage a mailing list is to set up a Yahoo Group at groups.yahoo.com. You can then send to only one address, which is the mailing list address, avoiding the limit that Yahoo Mail imposes to prevent spam.
