How can I search for a friend's yahoo ID if he/she has a account on yahoo? Is there a way to search by name or DOB or location or all ?

You can try searching the Yahoo Member Directory. Keep in mind that some users change their account settings for privacy reasons so that they DON'T appear in the Member Directory. Here is the link... http://members.yahoo.com/ Other email services have similar member directories that can be searched.
