How do i delete my Yahoo account????

  • I am sure I want to get rid of my yahoo account and start a new one, but i signed up for other things on the internet using my yahoo account as my adress. I would like to know will deleting my account delete delete things i set up using my account??? (you know like entering your email address when it says you'll win something or entering your email adress for an account on another website) because i want it to delete out of everything i ever entered it but cant go to all the websites because it is to many

    If it is a Yahoo account it will delete anything to do with Yahoo. ( like music, movies,360, etc. inside Yahoo) If you used a Yahoo email account as a password or profile to a website NOT related to Yahoo it will still work there.They are simply using it as a means to identify you. However if you are ordering something they will NOT be able to send you a reply or verification because your email account is no longer functioning ( like at eBay) http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/edit/changing_users/edit-23.html
