How can I delete my yahoo id?

How can i delete my master Yahoo! ID?

  • webman, thanks for your answer about no possibility to change my ID. i don't want to create sub accounts off that ID. if i cant change it, i want to delete it altogether and make a new master Yahoo! ID. can you tell me how? thanks.

    To remove ur entire account, visit Account Deletion page. https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_use... u will be asked to sign in to or verify ur password for the account u wish to delete. after the deletion process is initiated, ur account can never be recovered. goodluck ^_^

Well I'm not webman but this might help. To delete your account either go to My Account and follow directions to delete, or use this link: http://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete.use You should create a new account before you delete this one so you can transfer emails to it. From your inbox screen over to the right you will see Options click there and you should be able to create a new account there. Hope this helps.
