How can I delete my yahoo email account and password forever?

I can't delete my yahoo email account?

  • I am trying to delete this yahoo email account but it is not letting me. I went to the terminate account page and did what it said but its saying my password is wrong and that i am entering the wrong code. I put the right password and code. It keeps doing it.

    You might be better off just not using your Yahoo! mail account. First you'll want to go to your Contacts and create a csv file. That will save all your contacts and it can pretty much be used to import them into any other email account. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/manage/contactsadd-11.html Then delete all your contacts. Then just stop using that Yahoo! mail accountl Yahoo!
