How do I delete old screen names and profiles I no longer use from my main account?

    To delete one of your profiles, go to My Profiles and click the "Delete" link to the right of the appropriate profile name. It is not possible to delete the profile associated with your main Yahoo! ID on the My Profiles page. Profiles for your main Yahoo! ID or your Yahoo! Mail account can only be deleted by closing your account and removing all of the information they contain. If you don't want any information displayed on the profile for your Yahoo! go to Control Panel, and go to User Accounts... open each profile that you choose to rid yourself of, and hit the "delete" selection from the left column. It may ask you if you want to delete just the profile or the files associated with it.... think about this one... if they visited many web sites, you would probably do better to say yes to that question, and it will free up some of your storage space.

go to your friends list select my profiles click create/edit my profiles pick the profile you want to delete and delete just follow the instructions and delete those you want to good luck
