I reset my yahoo mail password; however, it does not work. How can I recover my new password?

I recently reset my password, but it doesn't work. Ive been using my main yahoo account for over 8 years and strangely, my recovery questions don't work either. I have tried several password recovery programs, but this new password was never used so it doesn't show up. How can I recover this new password? Thanks.
