How do I create a new Yahoo address name?

How do I create a yahoo email address that has nothing to do with my name?

  • i want to get a new email address for my new magazine and everytime i try to make one it says that the id i chosen is unavailable and they give me choices that have my name in it.

    You can get a free second email address from Yahoo! Go to your Mail page, then click Options on the right; then go to Mail Addresses and it will give you the option to add a new (free) address. You can use a . dot in it, so try that with the magazine's name. To change the name that appears here in Yahoo! Answers, Start by clicking "My Q&A" on the right side of the page above the Question; Then, below the "About Me" section under your point total, click "Edit My Info"; There you will find the Nickname section to select the name you'd like to appear or create a new one.

well...says that is unavailable because that id it is used already...but you don't need to put ur name in the id...u can use whatever you want....try some other names...and u'll see that it works;) see ya

You can use any set of letters that aren't taken. You don't have to use, and it's not recommended that you use, your name.

Sign out of Yahoo and go to the Yahoo! homepage and click Sign Up. How'd sign up for Yahoo in the 1st place???? LOL :))

So try something that has something to do with your magazine.. or think of something completely random. i would ask what to change it to rather than how to do it. what is the name of your magazine?
