How To Recover Yahoo Password Online Free?

My 9 yr yahoo account's password got hacked. How do I recover my password without secret question's answer?

  • Out of no where first my husband's yahoo account password got hacked from our home computer. Luckily he knew his secret question's answer and got it password reset. The next day my password got hacked. I forgot my secret Q's answer. I hv all other details - my DOB, Zip code, alternate email address. How do i get my password. That is the only email account I use for the last 9 yrs. Pl help.

go to the sign-in help and verify ur info. u need and altinate email to sent urs new pw to if u dont remember the secret question. i got hacked too, and some1 change my info. now i can't seem to contact any rep. b/c that email is important to me. the yahoo customer service is really horrible. no wonder so many plp left and in less than 2 years, google passed yahoo inc.

does not matter what other details you have ... Yahoo will not listen to you without all other info matching. your best option is to start another account and this time SECURE your account.

This happened to a friend of mine. Unfortunately, yahoo was of no help and he was unable to retrieve his password. I would try contacting Yahoo and see what they can tell you. This number should help you: (800) 318-0783 it is for technical support. They should at least point you in the right direction. In the future, it is smart to change your password about every 30 days and maybe update your secret questions/answers to something you can remember.
