How do I change my personal information in order to keep someone who knows my data from accessing my Yahoo acc
-
Some I know & trusted knows all my data and secret questions etc. I wish to change that information to some other, unknown data to prevent future research. Thanks in advance. It is a terrible thing to have a loved one do such a thing.

Answer:
This is the only way to change your secrest question and answer. For security reasons, we request that you send this information from the Yahoo! Mail account associated with the Password Question and Secret Answer. For the Subject of the email, type: Password Question and Secret Answer. In the text of the email, include: Your Yahoo! Mail ID. The ZIP code you gave when you registered for the account (non-U.S. residents, please include country). Your birthdate. The alternate (non- Yahoo!) email address listed for your Yahoo! ID. Your current Password Question and Secret Answer (exactly as you entered them at registration). Your new Password Question and Secret Answer. Please Note: The punctuation, spelling, and spacing of your new Secret Answer are important. We copy the Secret Answer exactly as it appears in your email. When we've received and verified the above information, we'll notify you that the change has been made. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/account/account-02.html Hope this helps you.

Change your password and security questions, or close the account & make a new account with fake answers (that only you know) to those questions.

You do not have to change ALL that personal info .JUST CHANGE YOUR ZIP ........... yahoo says it recognises original info, THEY DO NOT, as once a thief changes the ZIP \the recovery process anywhere though yahoo is useless. It is this new ZIP that Yahoo will recognise in recovery, not the original one you used when making the account. so feel comfortable in knowing that changing the ZIP secures your account
