How do you block unwanted email in the old Yahoo account?

How to block a yahoo email account permanently?Need help?

  • Actually my previous yahoo account was hacked by someone. It was not taking my current password but due to secret question, birthday and other personal details, I have retrieved my yahoo account and got a new password. But further I have come to know that my email was used by that hacker and sent crap emails to my friends. Thanks to yahoo that I am still using my previous yahoo account. But I want to block this yahoo account permanently. I have searched everywhere in yahoo but didnt get anything. I dont want to use my previous account and dont want it to use by anybody...I dont want to delete but block

If u want to give up yahoo u need to delete entire account visit Account Deletion page. https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user u will be asked to sign in to or verify ur password for the account u wish to delete. after the deletion process is initiated, ur account can never be recovered. goodluck ^_^
