How do i find my account settings

• i am trying to sign up for my space and i typed in my yahoo email and pass word . They said someone else was using my e-mail address. they told me to go to account settings and clik on to cancel account. so what do i do?

  go to yahoo homepage and click "Sign In". enter your email address if you can still access it. once you are signed in, click on top of the page "My Account". your account info page will be displayed. if you think the info you entered when you registered that account is still the same, then you don't need to cancel it. if you doubt that what you got message was correct and need to cancel the account which i highly it wasn't yahoo, then click the page and delete/cancel the account https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user
