Yahoo is my e-mail provider, I need to know its URL address?

I need to get into a old yahoo email account but i dont know the address or password!?

• i have this thing online i been doing for years and when i started i used an account and now i need it to verify something..i cant just make a new one so i need to get into it but i have no idea what it is it wont tell me it just says we sent it to the email address on file..is there anything i can do..? i tried recovering it but since it was so long ago i dont know what i put as my alternative email or anything..am i just screwed?

  If it's been more than 3 months since you used that account (if it was a Yahoo account), it would be considered inactive. Any emails you had stored in it would be gone. I'm not sure if someone could actually successfully send mail to that account., but I doubt it. I'm sure you meant you didn't remember the account user name, not the address. How many addresses could you have had when you created that account to put as an alternate email address? Maybe it was your address given to you by your provider. Chance are, that if it was that long ago, it would have been inactive and it's not receiving emails anyway. Contact whoever it is you need to verify something with explaining the situation... just say you don't even remember that old address and no longer have access to it. You don't need to give them any more explanation than that. I'm sure they can help you.
