Is it actually possible to lock someone's Yahoo account?

Is it Possible for someone to gain illegal access to someones yahoo email account?

I tried to sign in this morning in my other yahoo email account, the next thing I know, my user ID and password aren't working anymore, they were invalid, the last time I logged in it was working fine, but now it's completely locked, it's like someone really hacked into my account, but the thing is, I don't know if it's possible because I thought that the security here in Yahoo is strong.

    Yahoo security is so strong, but yahoo don't even know how stronger hackers are too. There are many types of hacking that yahoo cannot stopped or cannot notice.... but you might use the PREVENT PASSSWORD THEFT feature of signing in to yahoo account to protect your account. It is found in the upper left corner of yahoo sign in page. But don't worry, you just have to try again. Maybe you just mistyped your username or passssword. And try to change your password to a unique and "strong" password that cannot be easily conceived. Yahoo is very popular that it is really an object to many forms of maltreatment. And remember do not fully trust any free webbased email.... do not use it for some moolah transactions

ummm, if they can hack into government computers, They can hack into your computer, and email.. you are suppose to change your email password, at least once a month if not more,, And change your passwords to all your other accounts a least that many,, I change mine once a week! Because people are idiots,, and Try to make our lives harder!~!!
