How do you make another e- mail address?

How can someone else have the exact same e-mail address? How can I make them change?

  • In my bulk e-mail on this adress, there was spam from the same e-mail adress. How does that work? The e-mail is recent and I have never recieved one from that adress before.

    They can't. That is just a 'trick' the spammer use -- just before the email hits your IN-BOX, they substitute YOUR email for THEIR email to try and trick the SPAM filter. Just ignore it.

I have been asking this same question for three years. I had a nasty experience with a hacker who used this same method to stalk and mess with me. It is unnerving getting an e-mail from yourself to yourself... No one else has your same address. Today, we at work got three such messages in our work e-mail. I wish someone would explain this to me also.

this is what is really happening Recieving Emails From Yourself Etc this is most likely a spam bot or a live person who has accessed your account and is sending spam now they can even use your address book to send spam they can use one email to send spam to a lot people in just a couple clicks they can use bcc in your email program to hide all the other email addresses they are sending the spam to using bcc ( blind carbon copy ) they have to add a valid email address in the TO section of the email so they use yours then they enter all the other addresses on the bcc line which are hidden when everyone recieves the email so now it looks like you sent the email they will use your account to send spam untill yahoo closes it for sending spam contact yahoo now try to change your password now Change Password Here https://edit.yahoo.com/config/change_pw?
