How can somebody else change my status message in YM?

I went into a netshop in Thailand because at home the net was down again. I opened YM (old version) and as soon as I was online I saw a message leave in my name to everybody who is in my list. At the same time my status message was changed into the same message. When I had net at home again, I changed my password. The other day, again no net at home. Back to the shop where I removed the old version of Yahoo and installed the latest one. Same story. I have changed my password again. How is this possible? I thought my Yahoo was safe. Is it possible to change status message and send a message without password? Thanks for practical and helping answers. If you just want to chuckle and tell me I am stupid, please do. It can be possible if it hackers! but normally it shudn't be that simple. i would surggest u get in touch in with yahoo and make them aware of the problem. they may also be able to help make ur account more secure! gd luk

i don't know how they, didn't, try deleting the accout (or just dont use it anymore) and start a new one good luck, and i hope the hacker stops
