How to recover yahoo email account without password or security question?

  • I have this email that I haven't used in a while but i'm thinking of switching it to become my main email I use. Problem is that I forgot the password & the security question. What other ways can I recover my account. call yahoo tech support or something? p.s. I'm not a hacker -,- I really just want my email and I've tried every password i normally use for my emails

If you put in an alternate email address on your old yahoo account just press the forgot password when you are on the log in screen. Yahoo will send you the password to the alternate email account. If you didn't you need to contact yahoo they will ask you your secret question and if you know the answer they will give you the access if not your out of luck.
