What is a Confirmation Code for Myspace?

I want to change my myspace e-mail address and dont know my confirmation code what do i do?

  • Answer:

You get the "Conformation Code" once you change it. It will show up in the new e-mail address. Sometimes it will be sent to your bulk instead of your inbox. Make sure you are logged into your MySpace account. If you are not on your homepage, click “Home” in the top navigation menu of any MySpace web page. Once on your personal homepage, click on "Account Settings" (it’s in the upper left portion of the page, next to your picture). There will be a field to type in the new email address you want to use. Click on "Change". You will receive an email to your current address asking you to confirm the email change. Follow the link in the email and confirm the code and your email will be changed to the new one you assigned. If you do not have access to your old email account, please send us an email with the following: Your old email address Your password for the account The email address you want to change it to If you are not comfortable sending your password, you may send us a salute. A salute is a current photo of yourself holding a handwritten sign containing your friend ID. Your friend ID is located in the web address bar immediately after “&friendid=”. Please do not use one of your profile pictures. http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=misc.faq&Category=1&Question=13
