Why all my yahoo sent folder is deleted?

All my emails in my inbox and sent folders were disappeared/deleted from my Yahoo account!?

  • The last time I was logged in was yesterday and I might have forgotten to log out. Maybe that was the case and someone had access to my account. But then I received a spam message from someone that I couldn't delete or move to spam folder. Got message again and then I was able to report as spam. Did anyone have the same problem finding out all your emails were disappeared or deleted? None were in the trash folder, but my sent items were in the trash folder that I don't remember deleting. I also have folders set-up for my personal/private account info and they weren't deleted. What do you suggest I should do with my current Yahoo account?

    Your email might be hacked. Change your password ASAP with a tougher one and do a full system scan with the antivirus on your computer.
