How to change my password security question?

What if you forgot your password and security question, can you still change the password?? If so, how?

  • i haven't been on my yahoo in a while and i forgot my password, AND my security question... i want this account still because i have a lot of important stuff, how could i still get on without making a new one??? Hopefully something will work because i tried everything.... :\

    Don't worry, I ever had the problem too. I find a tool called Password Recovery Software. With it, I quickly and easily find back my forgotten password. If you have any interest, you can also have a try.

If you know the alternate email for the account you can do it that way, just goto yahoo.ca click sign in then click the link under the sign in that should say something like "I can't access my account" then click "forgot password" and it'll ask you for your yahoo I.D then send a email to your alternate account to verify and change your password, which is honestly probably your normal email account as you made a new one when you created a yahoo account.
