    You cannot delete your old email address, unless you are the email administrator. All public server based email addresses eventualy disappear if they are not used. Example: Maybe 90 days or so of inactivity and Yahoo will suspend your email. I stand corrected, listen to Leinad (above answerer) if you are talking about a Yahoo email address.

Go here: https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user Then do the following: -Login with your current username and password -Select which account that you want to delete -Enter in your password once again for verification purposes -Enter in the anti-spam code; this is to prevent automated submissions -Click Terminate This Account to finish off this process. Once you deleted your account, you can never open it back up again due to security reasons. By terminating your account, you will lose access to your entire Yahoo! ID. Everything stored in your account will be lost during the termination process. type in "yahoo termination page" in the search bar type your old password and address and the code they give you. in 90 days it will be deleted.
