How Do I Correct E-mail Account Error?

I can't get into an old yahoo email account I haven't checked in 2 years, it keeps giving me "error code?

  • I desperatley need to get into an old yahoo email account that I haven't used in over 2 years. It is very important that I get into this account because this is the address my PayPal account is attached to and I am wating for an important email. However, when I sign into this account and try to check my mail, it gives me an "error code 1" message. How can I get through this and see my email? "

    Quite frankly, I am surprised you can sign into it. But, Yahoo has been doing upgrading and maintenance work, this can cause things to act squirrelly. If something does not work properly, then try it again. If it still does not work, sign out of Yahoo. Then delete your temporary Internet files, history and cookies, some computers need to reboot. Once done, go back into Yahoo and see if that has helped. If you continue to have trouble, contact service representative and explain the problem to them. Yahoo! your yahoo acct has nothing to do with your pay pal account go to yahoo help and they will help you and then go to pal pal and they will help you don't confuse yourself by connecting them both together this will make thing a lot easier
