How can I get the password to an old email account?

  • I found an email address for my church but no one knows the password. I sent a test email to the address, and it did not return so the email address is still active. Problem is no one knows a password, so how can the church get another password assigned so they can start using the email?

all you have to do is attempt to log in. there should be an option for if you forgot your password. then if will have you answer a secerity question or another email connected to it could log you in. if all eles fails, send them an email and i'm sure they'll be able to get you into it(:

Bruteforce the php page with thc hydra. Use a list of passwords... Or, try account recovery. All else fails, if it's a super inactive account, you could e-mail the service (i.e. google for gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc.) and legitimately explain
