  • Answer:

They can't just delete it for no reason. You might have said somehting inappropriate, or someone might have reported your question/answers as abuse. Contact yahoo answers and ask them: [email protected] Yes, there is no e. :)

If you violated the Terms of Service in any way, then they (referring to Customer Care) can terminate your entire Y! account without warning under these very rules. All of that is legal. Not even a court of law will side with you. The company was in its legal bounds when your account was deactivated. To put it another way, you just lost your account and you'll never be able to get it back. Remember when you first signed up for a Y! ID, you must agree to adhere to the TOS and the community guidelines of all the services that you normally use. You abuse your account, you lose it. End of story. Here's more information on what I'm saying: 15. TERMINATION You agree that Yahoo! may, without prior notice, immediately terminate, limit your access to or suspend your Yahoo! account, any associated email address, and access to the Yahoo! Services. Cause for such termination, limitation of access or suspension shall include, but not be limited to, (a) breaches or violations of the TOS or other incorporated agreements or guidelines.
