How do I use yahoo email for live communication?

How do Yahoo justify deactivating my Email account when I use it MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY?Aboslutely pathetic?

  • I have just logged into my Yahoo account that I have used 4 or 5 times a day for over 3 years; that contains important personal and business documents and communication, including irreplaceable photos of my child, emails from partner and o/seas friends, references, uni applications...the list goes on. This is like suffering a house fire and is ENTIRELY unjustified - Yahoo claim the action has been taken because I have not used my account in 4 months which I can actually prove is a complete fabrication - quite possibly so Yahoo can FORCE me to 'choose' their more expensive email option that 'guarantees this deactivation won't happen again'. What a disgrace. I have immediately signed up for hotmail and will NEVER use Yahoo again. Googling this shows there are thousands of others who have suffered at the callous hands of Yahoo. Pathetic.

    Just email Yahoo Customer Service and tell them that your account was deleted in error. It happened to me and I got my account back.

i wonder if this explains the problem loads have had recently trying to access the yahoo mail im on the old one and constantly get asked do i want to upgrade but never do

I have never had a problem with yahoo, but I use my Hotmail account more often and never ever had a problem with them. Good luck mate.

YAHOO - PATHETIC? and the rest mate. don`t know what`s happened just lately but I too am thinking seriously of chucking the whole yahoo thing in too. i don`t think it`s just us either. good luck mate.
