What is the full meaning of Yahoo?

What is the meaning of "third party" when i report for a buse on yahoo 360??

  • i reported for a buse on yahoo 360 coz someone steal my photo and then they send me email and said "Please know that Yahoo! is unable to disclose the action taken on another user's account with a third party" what exactly that mean??

  • Answer:

A third party simply means a third person or entity. They are basically saying they cannot tell you what someone else did. A third party could mean if you file a complaint...you are the first party. The entity, person, or administration you file the complaint with would be the second party. The third party would be a person or entity you mention, who is not present, or represented themselves in the complaint. For example, a bank will not redeem third party checks. The third party is the person who signed the check. You are the first party, bringing in the check, the bank is the second party, who you wish to cash the check. The third party is the entity not there, or not represented. I believe what they are trying to say is that they will not tell you what action was taken on another person's account. It sounds to me as if they assume you are the third party, meaning, the one who is not involved directly in the case.

I think here the person who took your photo and yahoo! are the 1st and 2nd parties. You are the 3rd party. Party meaning person/company etc.
