How do you change your IM name?

How do I change my yahoo IM name??????????????????????????…

• My cousin is sooo much younger than me,and she e-mails me and Im me all the time to tell me how she is. But she doesn't like my im name(Cuz it has a bad name in it)!! So I told her I would try to change the name before I chatted with her tonight around eight. So How do I change it? I've already verify my other e-mail...and I have all set. I wanted the other e-mail I verified hoping that would be my IM name. But it isn't. So how do I change the name??? Thanks so much!!

  For changing your Yahoo! ID:- 1) Click on the Yahoo! Messenger icon on your desktop for signing in to Messenger. 2) Messenger will then ask you to put in your ID and Password.In the same window where you enter your details for signing in, you can see the option of 'Get a new Yahoo! ID...' in blue color below the 'password' box.Click on 'Get a new Yahoo! ID'. For changing your Yahoo! IM name:- (Changing the name your contacts will see on their chatting window while chatting with you i.e. changing the name that will appear before your message on your contact's chatting window.) 1) Sign in to Messenger. 2) Go to 'Messenger' and then click ' My Contact Details'. 3) Change your 'Nickname'. 4) Click 'Save & Close'.
