How can I delete a Yahoo!Answers account?

    I don't think there is an option to delete it. You'd have to delete your whole Yahoo email account. I think it's like that because say your answers account got suspended because of a violation. All you'd have to do is delete that suspended and make a new one. Yahoo doesn't want it to be too easy because say the user who got suspended was harassing others. They would easily make a new account and continue the harassment. Try contacting yahoo here http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/answers/first_appeal.html;_ylt=Aqz68TIBU2FD5vudCf11AGhs5SN4?from_url= And ask them to remove your answers account, but not your email and explain why you don't want it. They usually reply in exactly 24 hours.

You can not delete the Yahoo Answers account. The best you can do is to go into your profile and erase or change the information in it. Erase all avatar information, and blank out your avatar to the grey silhouette. Delete or change all your info. Close any connections to your 360, and E-mail. Check that your questions and/or answers are private. Delete your open questions and answers. Make sure you do not have public connections, no IM or mail open. Delete any contacts and fans. To delete fans: block, then remove block. Then just leave it.

You cannot delete only single yahoo answers account.Your yahoo account comes as a package and you can only delete the whole package that includes the following: * Yahoo answers. Yahoo answers is part of the account package, if you don't want to make use of it, you don't have to You can delete your ENTIRE Yahoo account - but not parts of it Just ignore those services you don't want to use.
