How can one delete their Yahoo email address?

Can i delete a SUSPENDED YAHOO ANSWERS ACCOUNT and make a new one form the same email address?

Please help me understand? i want to know if i could create a new profile. can i delete my old suspended profile, and create a new one? that way i wouldn't need to make a new email address account and stuff like that. or is there a way that i could change my yahoo id, in a way that i'll still receive newsletters from old places i signed for, but also create a new yahoo answers account?

    I got my account suspendet to..and i tried to make a new one with my old mail adress....U CAN'T fortunely i already had another answers account that i made 3 years ago and totaly forgot about it(on my others mail adress)..so luky me..sorry 4 you..but i doun't feel bad getting my account suspendet i had 7 points on it so i already thought about making a new one...:D

If you were suspended then how come you can ask a question?

Your account was suspended because of your violations. And the suspension is permanent. Which means that the account is already closed. You can not use it again - ever. You can open another Yahoo answers account, but I believe you will need to use another E-mail address in order to do so. You can not change your ID name or address, and if you close it, you will also lose all other accounts associated with it.

It might be that you offend people so people flag or spam your questions, having too much of SPAMING or FLAGGING, can hurt you reputation in the answer community. Even if your anwers "are great" (not) so the moderators or the administration MUST suspend your account for that. God Bless....and dont offend people. ^_^

The answer is no. If your previous Answers account was suspended, then it has already been deleted from your other email address. You'll have to create a new account through another Y! ID.
