  • Answer:

Well Connie. I lost mine when I transferred from sbcglobal.net which is part of yahoo. For one, assuming you have a yahoo ID, you would have to wait 6 months till it is deleted. So annotate a date in the Yahoo calendar. Two. at the top of the Yahoo window there is a part that says [Sign Out, My Account]. click on the MY ACCOUNT and in the next window you can see if your name is in your account or what names are associated with your account. If your name is there then the account is active still but I presume it is not, then you can try to create a new ID with old name. If this does not work then you have a LONG 6 months to wait. Try calling or emailing Yahoo help.

if it's still available and you remember it you can go under "forgot my password" and it should ask you a few questions that get you back in

you need to answer your secret questions on sign in page and log in with your old email. or you can use alternate email but you still need to answer the secret question. if you cant remember the answer then it is gone for good. Yahoo do not use call service centres anymore i had same prob last year. goodluck
