How do I create a password for Alternate email if Yahoo doesn't give you an option to do this when creating it?

I just set up an additional new account, but Yahoo didn't give me an option while setting up the email, to create a password for the Alternate email address. How do I do this, because I can't get into te Alternate email without the password?
