Can someone send messages from my Yahoo!Mail account?

Someone is logging into my account and using it to send ugly messages to people.?

  • I saw the messages in my sent folder. I tried to change my password but it would not take the answer to my question "city of birth". What should I do? Thanks

    If your computer asks to save and remember your password, tick No.Never allow your computer to remember your password or tick the box to sign you in automatically.It seems as if you have, and someone has taken the advantage . Contact your provider and they will send you a link for editing and changing your profile

if i where you id delete your account ,create a new one,or you could drop all your contacts an email and say that its not u or call or email yahoo about the problem.

email everyone on your contact list explaining what happened, and get a new screen name. save their info and add them when your act is set up, don't send a mass email out with your new sn because who ever it is will probably hack it.

Try to change it again, and if it doesn't work then you should contact the help... for example if its yahoo, contact them and see of they can help you. If you have to email them, open another email acct and send one that way to get answers.

i would create another account and tell everyone who the 'hacker' sent a message.....well just tell them its not you

That's really bad, you could possibly get a virus on your computer. I think you should delete oyour account and create a new one, as soon as possible. Good Luck.
