Closing ATT Yahoo account but want to keep my email address?
-
I am moving and will not have a land line so I am closing my ATT/Yahoo account. Is there a way I can pay a nominal fee to keep my sbcglobal.net account name or have it forwarded to another yahoo after the account is closed. If not is there a courtesy time period that you can access the account email after it is closed.

Answer:
Since it is a paid account, you need to contact the provider with your questions. Normally when you close an e-mail account, it is closed. Incoming e-mails immediately bounced back. I doubt though that there is a grace period. You need to notify your contacts and provide them with your new e-mail address. You can make a free Yahoo account, and with that you will have a free Yahoo e-mail address also.
