How do I report to Yahoo that my account has been hacked?

How do I report a hijacked account to yahoo, as I'm instructed to in their Terms Of Service?

  • Someone hacked into my yahoo account and changed my password and "secret question and answer". I use this e-mail address for all personal and business contacts, and therefore need to keep this address. Yahoo's TOS states that you have to report this kind of incident to them, however I cannot find any means of contacting them. Please help.

    http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/us/security/cgi_feedback On the help pages normally there is a link at the end. Once you fill this, you'll get an automated reply. Read that and reply back with more info to get further info.

If you don't want an automated response, then you can call customer care. They don't post their number, which really sucks. But I finally found one. It may not be the department you're looking for, but it will at least get you talking to a real person who can guide you to the one you need to talk to. 1-800-318-0651

My account seems to also be hijacked... it was very odd since I was logged into it all evening and then all of a sudden, it said that someone had logged in elsewhere and it booted me out. When I tried to log back in, it wouldn't let me and now I can't even access the security page (http://add.yahoo.com/fast/help/us/security/cgi_feedback) to report this... that keeps going down. I'm praying its something going on with yahoo servers.... praying real hard...
