Can I delete an account on Yahoo Answers? If yes, how?

How can I delete my yahoo answers account?

  • I would like t o delete this account but not delete my yahoo mail since it is the thing I use the most

    The Yahoo Answers Account can't be closed without closing your entire Yahoo ID. Even if you do your questions and answers remain. The best you can do is to go to "my activity" and then "edit my preferences". Remove the avatar, change the nickname to something else, remove any comments, and block all communication and viewing of your Q&A in the profile. ℬ ℋ

You cannot do that I am afraid. You have to cancel all or nothing. More importantly if you do cancel everything your resolved questions and answers will still remain on Yahoo servers for ever unless removed for abuse.

You can't delete it as it is part of your email account You can make it private by clicking on My Activity and Edit my preferences and clicking on Privacy When your done in there click on Submit Have a good day J R :)
