My account change password?

How do i change my password if someone stole my account and change all my info(birth,zipcode,etc)?

  • I cant log in for my yahoo now, since april 6, 2006. i think someone stole my account and they tried to changed evrything so i wont able to change my password, i hope you guys could help me with this situation, i have this account for more than 6 years and all of my friends memories are in there, and the worst thing is they change my password on my myspace, and change my info too.. hoep you gusy could help me recover my password... by the way the emaill add is [email protected] i would really appreciate it....hope you could get back to me... thank you so much....

    You won't be able to reset your password on your own. You'll have to contact Yahoo Account Verification (408) 349-1572 and explain what happened. They likely will advise you to send an email to the security department, outlining what has transpired in order to get your account back; BUT remember, you MUST provide Account Verification with your birthdate, zip code etc AT THE TIME OF REGISTERING. If you you don't have accurate information, there's very little chance of recovering your account. Good Luck!!
