How do I cancel or close my yahoo e-mail account?

  • I opened the email address with yahoo in order to try the online surveys. It is such a headache I wish to discontinue the survey service and I do not want anyone at this email address to be able to reach me at my other email address.

    When you delete your account you will be deleting all of the account that goes withthat ID. Don’t use your account for 4 months and yahoo will delete it for you. Or you can delete your Yahoo account yourself go to https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_use... Hope this helps!!!

You cannot delete it without deleting everything you have with yahoo under that name. Log on to the main page, click on your name, in this section you will find the choice to delete your account
