How do I change my yahoo email address?

  • I have been getting lots of unwanted emails from people I don't know I think it is solicitations. I want it to stop. will changing my email stop this and how did it start and how do I change my email without messing up my internet home page again and also change my password. I would like the same password for everything on my computer and some how I don't have that right now. I also don't want my yahoo messenger messed up but would like my id changed for all my computer.

    You can get a new email address, but I don't think you can change it. You can transfer all your contacts from the one address to the other, and yahoo has a great way to let everyone you care about know that you changed your address. You COULD just report the unwanted emails as spam, and then, instead of going into your inbox, the unwanted emails would go straight into "bulk mail" and you can just ignore them.
