I just bought an Iphone and tried to load my yahoo email account to it & couldnt. Why?

Every time I or a verizon technician try to load my yahoo email account ([email protected]) to my new phone I get a message saying connection failed. But when I log on to any Ipad or computer, my yahoo account access is available. I even changed my password to see if this would help. It didn't. I was able to load my other yahoo acount ([email protected]) on my phone, but the main yahoo email account I want on my phone is not being accepted. Can you please assist me in accessing this account on my phone? Thank you.

Answer:
Well this seems really odd because there shouldnt be any problem however try creating an alias on that email and then try to add it.
