How should I setup Outlook to access my Yahoo mail?

Cannot access my mail account?

  • Hi I have 2 yahoo free mail accounts. 1 @yahoo.co.uk [email protected] For the past twelve hours I have not been able to access the @yahoo.co.uk account (but have been able to access the @yahoo.com.au account). My YahooID and password are fine and I can see that I have 4 messages to view so I am logged in but when I click on the 4 messages link I get the error message 'Cannot connect to server'. I have tried accessing this account from both home and work and its the same thing. I have tried using Opera and IE but still no access. I read in another message that yahoo has servers down - is this still the case and when are they due up? I have spent 5 hours trying to access my mail - trying to setup my account on Outlook Exp etc but still no joy. I belive that if it has servers down, Yahoo should have reported this issue on their website. I even did a search to find out if there was any problems but didn't find any info. Has anyone got the latest on this issue? Thanks

I had that exact problem yesterday as well. I kept on having to try and refresh and logging in and out, or closing the window and opening a new one, but it didn't work out. It wasn't until later on today that it started working again. I haven't had a problem yet... so I would just suggest that you give it sometime, maybe till tomarrow, then try it again. If it doesn't work, write to yahoo through the help link.

This happened to me yesterday, so i kept clicking on the Refreash button and that worked.

Click refresh or even see weather the internet connection is connected or try going to yahoo mail afterward.
