How can I access my e-mail from another computer?

How can another person access their email account from my computer?

  • Thanks for the answers so far but we've already tried them. I have an account with BT-Yahoo and the other person with Yahoo. If they're a 'guest' they're still using MY e-mail and can't access their OWN account. Using Google just brings up my own email account again!. Choosing 'different user' only produces 'invalid user name' as the computer is STILL searching BT-yahoo not Yahoo! And yes I've tried signing out and searching for Yahoo and guess what? I'm back to my own e-mail. I'm trapped in an everlasting loop and I'm going LOOPY!

    Everyone has to log off from whatever account they are on. That means turning off any "remember my ID and/or password on this computer" that you may have turned on. Then go to www.yahoo.com. Then click on "Mail" - it will ask you for a user id and password. Your friend should be able to type in his ID and password there.

From your e-mail choose "sign out", then an option comes up to sign out of all yahoo services. choose it. Then go to mail, then your friend should be able to choose to log on as different user. I'm going to check this on my system and I'll get back to you. Good luck meanwhile. It worked for me, the trick is to sign out of Yahoo TWICE.

If the person you are talking about has a yahoo.com or yahoo.co.uk e-mail account all they have to do is go to the relevant yahoo page,ie yahoo.com or .uk and then select my mail from the web page and sign in using their yahoo ID. That way it has nothign to do with your ISP or your computer log in account.
