How do I deactivate my old email?

How do you deactivate a email account?

  • I have two email accounts, this one and another. I want to deactivate the other one. Is there anyway to do that? I don't have a clue so if you could help me that would be great. Thanks

Please note that if you do this, though, you will also lose all the Data stored in your Yahoo! Mail, Address Book, HotJobs My Yahoo! Yahoo! Groups, your finance portfolio and any other area of Yahoo! that can be accessed only using your Yahoo ID and password. Please note that if you delete your account, you cannot get it back.
