Answer:
The ID can't be changed but, you can get an "extra e-mail address" that will be linked to the ID. All e-mails will go into the same inbox. The only way you can do it without having to open a new account is to add an extra address. If you would like to do that here is how to do it. 1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page. 2. Under “Management”, click Mail Addresses. 3. In the “Extra Email Address” section, click Get Started. 4. Either type whatever new address you’d like to try (we’ll tell you if it’s already taken), or use one of our suggestions on the right. 5. Click Choose. Now your extra address appears in the list of Yahoo! Mail accounts shown on this page. To help prevent spamming, we only allow you to change your extra address twice in one year. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/tools/tools-21.html If you have the All New Mail 1. Click the options. 2. On the left had side click the accounts. 3. Go down to extra mail address. 4. Click the get started. If you want, you can make your "extra" address the default address in the "From:" field. That way you don't have to choose it, it's just there, every time. Making it your default address is also easy. Here's how: Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page and select Mail Options. From the list on the left, click Accounts. Click Add or edit an account. Select your extra mail address from the list on the page by clicking it. Click Make Default in the box on the right.

Go on my profile, click on edit my info and it asks you if you want to add an email address. You can't change an email address but you can add one. Good luck and hope you find and email address that reflects your personality.
